Send broadcast e-mails from our web site at www.fiabci-usa.com. Go to the Members' Only section and click on broadcast e-mail. You can select others with expertise in the same country you do by selecting that country in the Country field or choose those who specialize in the same property type, i.e., rural, by highlighting it in the Specializations field. Or send faxes, letters, or copies of your brochures.
Come to FIABCI meetings.
Participating in FIABCI events is the fastest way to get known and to get to know others you'd like to do business with. Now that our national meetings are scheduled in conjunction with international real estate events, you can kill two birds with one airfare. Upcoming international meetings include: Monaco, Malaysia, and Germany. Check the Calendar for frequent updates on meetings and events.
Communicate your expertise.
Make sure other FIABCI members know your areas of expertise. Take an ad on the web site or in the newsletter. Make a marketing session presentation at the World Congress or other international meeting. Keep your name and expertise in front of others in your informal FIABCI network. Professional and Educational Exchange Program
To experience real estate in other countries firsthand, FIABCI offers customized exchanges and internships in its member countries. Those interested in or already pursuing a career in real estate may apply to learn about different real estate practices and markets in other countries through this unique program. FIABCI International Real Estate Certificate (FIREC)
This unique international certificate is awarded to members who have exhibited excellence in their profession and who are active participants in international real estate.
To receive the FIREC certificate, members must complete two days of approved education, participate in FIABCI events, and submit a detailed case study of a specific international real estate job or transaction. 2000-2001 FIABCI World President Laurence McCabe (Ireland) stated in announcing the awards: "These outstanding individuals from around the world of FIABCI represent the best of the best in international real estate. They embody the vision the FIABCI Education Committee and Board realized in developing FIREC."
